Bernie N1NDN has joined the system with allstar node 41764 in Queensbury NY on 147.510 w/123pl
his node should cover from Lake George down to Saragota & to the East to about Fort Ann along RT4
it is with great honor we add this node to the system, Bernie has azzisted in many ways to our nodes that may never be recognized

Welcome aboard...... to "the board" as well B . A valuable asset for anyone to have for sure. VTAN is fortunate to have you as I would still be trying to get my node up and running without'ya!

Node 41764 is online near Exit 19 of the Adirondack Northway (Rt 87 North of Albany). This is a popular tourist destination because its near Lake George, Saratoga and the Adirondacks. Feel free to jump on 146.475 mhz with a 123 hz PL Tone when you're in this area headed to Vermont or Lake George.

Yes Eliza has a DVAP that she uses to connect to D-STAR and I have been trying to get the College to allow me to put up a D-STAR node on campus. Problem is that the campus dose not have any newer buildings that have a good antenna location. If I can gain access to an antenna site I will put in both the D-STAR link and an Allstar node.
